Samsung unveiled its first smart glasses a couple of months ago but hasn’t revealed most of their features yet. They will be the first smart glasses to run Google’s Android XR operating system with the Gemini AI assistant. A new leak has now revealed how they could enhance your music experience.

According to Android Authority, Spotify is working on some interesting integrations for Android XR-powered smart glasses. Once the app is linked to a user’s Google account, it can use deep Gemini integration to control music playback, offer contextual music recommendations through playlists, and let users fine-tune playlists on the fly.

Moreover, by using input from the smart glasses’ onboard camera, Spotify and Gemini can work together to create music playlists that match the user’s surroundings and mood. Users can also ask Gemini to create Spotify playlists using natural language, eliminating the need to interact with their phone’s screen.

With these features, you could automatically get an energetic playlist during a morning run, a relaxing playlist while unwinding at home, or a focus playlist while working at your desk. These features were spotted by digging through text strings in version 9.1.66.1259 of the Spotify app for Android.
