A couple of months after unveiling the Galaxy A14 5G, Samsung has launched its slightly modified version, the Galaxy M14 5G. The affordable smartphone is now available in Ukraine and is expected to launch in more countries over the next few months. The Galaxy M14 5G comes with largely the same specifications as the Galaxy A14 5G but features an even bigger battery.
The Galaxy M14 5G sports a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera that can capture 1080p 30fps videos. On the back, the Galaxy M14 5G has a 50MP primary camera with autofocus, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. The rear-facing camera can record 1080p 30fps videos as well.
A 6,000mAh battery is one of the main talking points of the Galaxy M14 5G. It should easily last a couple of days of light to medium usage. However, Samsung has limited fast charging to just 15W. The Galaxy M14 5G comes equipped with the Exynos 1330 processor, which has two high-performance CPU cores, a massive upgrade from the previous-generation Exynos 850 chipset that was commonly seen inside Samsung's affordable phones. The device has 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, and a microSC card slot.
Connectivity features of the Galaxy M14 5G include GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, sub-6GHz 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, a USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone runs Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software out of the box. It will most probably get three major Android OS updates. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It is available in three colors: Blue, Dark Blue, and Silver.
The 64GB version of the phone is priced at UAH 8,299 (around $226), while the 128GB version of the Galaxy M14 5G is priced at UAH 8,999 (around $246) in Ukraine.
