A few months ago, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A15 5G, the most affordable 5G smartphone in the Galaxy A series yet. Now, it has been revealed that the company is planning to launch two more phones based on the Galaxy A15 5G, and it is likely that both of them will be cheaper than the Galaxy A15 5G.
Galaxy M15 5G battery capacity revealed
Earlier today, the design of the Galaxy F15 5G was leaked. Now, information about the battery of the Galaxy M15 5G has been revealed. A battery for a Galaxy phone with model number EB-BM156ABY has been found on the Safety Korea website (via MySmartPrice). It has a rated capacity of 5,880 mAh (marketed capacity of 6,000mAh) and has been manufactured by Ningde Amperex Technology Limited from China. This is bigger than the 5,000mAh cell found inside the Galaxy A15 5G. It also features 25W fast charging.
Possible Galaxy M15 5G specifications
The Galaxy M15 5G will likely share a lot of its specifications with the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy F15 5G. So, we can expect the Galaxy M15 5G to feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to have three cameras on the rear: 50MP primary, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro. On the front, it could have a 13MP selfie camera.
The Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy F15 5G are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a microSD card slot. So, the same processor, RAM, and storage options will likely be found on the Galaxy M15 5G. The phone is expected to run Android 14 out of the box and have GPS, a dual-SIM card slot with 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint reader.
The phone could be launched in India, its neighboring countries, and some Latin American countries. Expect the phone to be priced lower than the Galaxy A15 5G, going by Samsung's track record of pricing Galaxy F, Galaxy M, and Galaxy A series phones.
