After launching in Germany a couple of weeks back, the Galaxy M22 is now available for purchase across the pond in Brazil. Samsung's offering the phone with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in three color options: black, blue, and white.
The Galaxy M22 in Brazil costs R$1,499, or the rough equivalent of $275. The device costs less in other markets, but as usual, prices in Brazil are inflated by higher tax rates.
As to what the Galaxy M22 can offer for R$1,499, well, it features the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset and it's powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. However, prospective buyers should keep in mind that the phone ships with a 15W charger, and they'll have to buy a 25W charger separately if they wish to maximize the battery's capabilities.
90Hz display on a budget
The Galaxy M22 is equipped with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display featuring an HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 90Hz. Connectivity options include LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a 3.5mm audio port.
Photography enthusiasts have four cameras to work with, including a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and 2MP depth and macro cameras. The device can record 1080p videos at 30fps. Meanwhile, the selfie camera embedded in the Infinity-U display cutout has a resolution of 13MP. The phone ships with Android 11 and takes advantage of Samsung Knox.
