Galaxy M31 in black, blue, and exclusive red pops up in leaked renders

With just one week left before the Galaxy M31 launches in India, a handful of press renders depicting the device in all three color choices emerged via Twitter. The renders show the Galaxy M31 in black, blue, and the more exclusive red flavor, the latter of which we've known about for a couple of months now, albeit without having renders to share.

The smartphone's overall design has already been unveiled by Amazon along with several key specifications. The Galaxy M31's 6.4-inch display is of the Infinity-U variety and it has a thicker lower bezel that might work in your favor if you're having issues with accidental touches on bezel-less devices.

Overall, the Galaxy M31 looks like a mixed bag of old and new design elements. To begin with, rear-mounted fingerprint scanners are no longer that popular, but the large rectangular camera cutout is definitely a new design element in Samsung's book.

The camera bump highlights the fact that the Galaxy M31 is a 2020 smartphone, and lends credibility to the idea that Samsung is much more serious about the mobile camera game this year. The device sports a 64-megapixel main camera, the same as the Galaxy A71.

Much like the ‘value-for-money champion‘ Galaxy M30s before it, the upcoming Galaxy M31 packs a monstrous 6,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It will ship with Android 10 and the latest version of One UI out of the box, and it should become available for purchase on February 25, at least in India.

Are you planning on buying the Galaxy M31 in black, blue, or perhaps the more exclusive red flavor next week? Leave a comment below.
