Update: Prices for the Galaxy M31s have not been increased and the phone still costs INR 19,499 ($262) and INR 21,499 ($289) for the 6GB and 8GB configurations.
Original story follows
The Galaxy M31s was released in India three weeks ago and the device has enjoyed tremendous success. After all, the Galaxy M31s offers insane value for money, so why wouldn't it? But customers looking to buy the device right now will find that Galaxy M31s stocks have been depleted at Samsung's online shop as well as Amazon.in. Thankfully Samsung will mend the situation tomorrow, August 27, when stocks will reportedly be replenished.
Galaxy M31s prices appear to have been bumped up
The Galaxy M31s is not in stock at Samsung.com as of this writing but the phone's prices continue to be listed, and it appears that Samsung India has bumped them up a notch.
The 6GB and 8GB Galaxy M31s variants were originally released for INR 19,499 ($262) and INR 21,499 ($289), respectively. However, Samsung India now lists a price tag of INR 20,499 ($276) for the 6GB model and INR 22,499 ($303) for the 8GB flavor. More so, the company's online shop suggests that these prices have been discounted by INR 2,500 ($33).
Mind you, even with these new prices, the Galaxy M31s is still cheaper than the Galaxy A51 and a better value proposition, but it is something to consider. For context, the Galaxy A51 with 6GB and 8GB of RAM costs INR 23,999 ($323) and INR 25,999 ($350), respectively.
