Samsung has released its latest security update to one more mid-range Galaxy smartphone. The June 2022 security patch is now available for the Galaxy M31s in European countries. Other markets could get the update within the next few days.
The new software update for the Galaxy M31s bears firmware version M317FXXS3DVF3. It brings the June 2022 security patch to fix 66 privacy and security vulnerabilities. It could also include general bug fixes, device stability improvements, and better performance.
If you are a Galaxy M31s user in Europe, you can download and install the new software update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M31s in mid-2020 with Android 10-based One UI 2.5. The phone received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update in the first half of 2021 and the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update a couple of months ago.
