Samsung released the Android 14 update to the Galaxy M33 last week. However, that update was limited to Russia and Ukraine. Now, the Android 14 update has been released to the Galaxy M33 in India. More countries are bound to get the new software update over the course of the next few weeks.
Galaxy M33 5G gets Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update in India
The Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy M33 is available in India with firmware version M336BUXXU5DWK6. The update has a download size of around 2.2GB, so it would be appropriate to download it via a Wi-Fi network. It would also be a good step to back up all your important data before installing the new software update.
The update comes with the November 2023 security patch that fixes around 65 security flaws discovered in the previous software version. If you have a Galaxy M33 and live in India, you can now download the Android 14 update. To do that, open the Settings app on your phone and navigate to Software update » Download and install. You can also download the matching firmware from our firmware database and flash it manually. You would need a computer running Windows OS and having the Odin tool for that process.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M33 in India last year. It ran Android 12 out of the box and received the Android 13 update later that year.
