Yet another Galaxy phone is being updated to Android 14 and One UI 6. Earlier this week, Samsung released the One UI 6 update for the Galaxy A33, and now its cheaper, less feature-packed cousin is also joining the party.

Samsung has released the Android 14 update for the Galaxy M33. This is the second major Android upgrade for the Galaxy M33 and the third overall One UI update (the phone launched running One UI 4.1 out of the box and was later updated to One UI 5.0 and One UI 5.1).

Russia and Ukraine are the first markets to get One UI 6 for the Galaxy M33, but we can expect the rollout to hit the Indian subcontinent soon as that's where Samsung's Galaxy M series phones are the most popular. The update comes with a firmware version ending in DWK6 and includes the November 2023 security patch.

To download Android 14/One UI 6 on your Galaxy M33, you can do an over-the-air update using the Download and install option in the phone's Settings » Software update menu. Another way to upgrade is to download the Android 14 firmware for your phone model and country from our archive and install it from a Windows-powered PC.

Throughout the Samsung fan community, the most polarizing One UI element this year might be the quick panel. Samsung redesigned it with the release of One UI 6.0, and while I don't have a gripe with the new layout, I can see why some people dislike it, as it makes it a bit harder to […]

[Video] Discover all the advanced features on your Galaxy phone or tablet!

In its early days making Android phones, Samsung was popular for throwing everything but the kitchen sink into its software. It was an approach that gained the company millions of fans, but it wasn't an approach appreciated by everyone. Samsung gradually dialled down the number of out-of-the-box functionality customers got when they purchased a Galaxy […]
