Galaxy M51 to be launched in India on September 10

Samsung surprised everyone two days ago by announcing the Galaxy M51 for Germany. Most consumers were expecting the new mid-range smartphone to debut in India before reaching European markets. Now, the South Korean tech giant has revealed the Galaxy M51 launch date for the Indian market.

Going by the image teased on Amazon India's website, the Galaxy M51 will be launched in India on September 10 at 12 PM IST. The well-specced device is priced at €360 in Germany, and it is expected to be priced in India between INR 20,000 and INR 25,000. It will be available through Amazon.in and Samsung's online store.

Galaxy M51 specs

The Galaxy M51 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display with Full HD+ resolution. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and it runs Android 10 with One UI Core. The smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 730 (or the Snapdragon 730G), 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It is powered by a 7,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.

It has a 32MP selfie camera at the front. At the rear, the Galaxy M51 sports a quad-camera setup with a 64MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera. The phone features a dual-SIM card slot, LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
