Earlier this week, Samsung unveiled five new mid-range smartphones for the Indian market. Now, the company is preparing itself for the launch of two more Galaxy M series smartphones: Galaxy M33 5G and Galaxy M53 5G. While many were expecting the Galaxy M53 5G to be a cheaper variant of the Galaxy A53, it looks like there are quite a few differences between them.
The press render of the Galaxy M53 5G has been leaked, courtesy of YTechB. The upcoming smartphone's design seems different from the Galaxy A53. Moreover, it appears to have a combination of Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73 specifications. It is being reported that the Galaxy M53 5G has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the front, the phone could have a 32MP selfie camera. Its rear-facing quad-camera setup reportedly includes a 108MP primary camera (from the Galaxy A73), a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It could be capable of recording 4K 30fps videos using both front and rear cameras.
The Galaxy M53 5G is said to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It could have a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It will most probably launch with Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box.
