Almost a month ago, Samsung updated the Galaxy M55 with One UI 8.5. Now, the brand has released another update for the phone. This one brings the June 2026 security patch. It fixes 45 security issues present in the previous firmware.
The company seems to be rolling it out to the international variant of the phone globally, including India. The firmware has version M556BXXS5DZF2. To check its availability and get it, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
Last month, Samsung unveiled its latest Android customisation for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, One UI 9.0. Based on Android 17, it brings more user interface customisation options as well as additional features.
The company launched the Galaxy M55 with One UI 6.1 and promised to offer it four major OS upgrades. So far, the tech giant has released three of them. Considering that, the device is eligible to get One UI 9.0.
