Samsung has been extremely impressive in rolling out the Android 13 update to Galaxy smartphones and tablets. It has already released the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update to over two dozen smartphones, and today, the company has released the Android 13 update to the Galaxy M62 in some Asian countries.
The Galaxy M62 is getting the stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Vietnam. The new update carries firmware version M625FXXU2CVK2 and brings the November 2022 security patch. The update could be released in other countries across the world within the next few days.
If you are a Galaxy M62 user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can download and install the Android 13 update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually as an alternative method.
Samsung launched the Galaxy M62 two years ago with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 software onboard. The smartphone received the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update earlier this year. Android 13 could be its last major Android OS update as Samsung isn't clear if the Galaxy M62 complies with its new software update policy.
