One of the last pure Galaxy Note smartphones is getting updated with a new security patch. After more than a dozen Galaxy smartphones and tablets have received the June 2022 security update, Samsung is now giving the Galaxy Note 10 a similar treatment.
The new update is available for the Galaxy Note 10 in Switzerland. It carries firmware version N970FXXS8HVE9. The same update should eventually hit the Galaxy Note 10+ variant and should reach more markets soon.
Samsung's changelog mentions only improved security, so don't expect any new One UI features coming to your Galaxy Note 10.
As far as security is concerned, the June 2022 security patch addresses various problems related to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, the QR code scanner, and other aspects of Android OS and One UI.
As usual, customers should get an update when the update reaches their devices, but they can also try updating the phone by opening the Settings app, accessing “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.”
