Earlier this month, Samsung released the May 2023 security update to the Galaxy Note 10 series in South Korea. The update is now expanding to the US, with the carrier-unlocked models getting the update. Surprisingly, the global versions of the smartphone haven't received the update yet.
The latest software for the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ in the US comes with firmware version N97xU1UEU7HWE1. It brings the May 2023 security patch to the unlocked models of the smartphones, and it includes fixes for over 70 security flaws found in Galaxy devices. The update doesn't bring any new features or performance improvements.

If you have an unlocked version of Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ in the US, you can now check for the new update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 10 series in the second half of 2019 with Android 9 onboard. The devices received the Android 10 update in early 2020 and the Android 11 update in late 2020. The Galaxy Note 10 series received the Android 12 update in late 2021. The phones won't get Android OS updates anymore.
