Samsung is following up on the One UI 2.1 release for the Galaxy Note 10 with a new firmware update in Europe. One UI remains unchanged and no new features have been added through this new update. The firmware version is also the same at N97xFXXU3CTC9, but the changelog claims that the stability of functions has been improved.
The new firmware update appears to bring some network-based improvements to the Galaxy Note 10, but they may not be noticeable by end users. The changelog also mentions bug fixes but doesn't detail them, as well as the implementation of the latest security patch; but once again, the April 2020 security patch was already included in the One UI 2.1 update.
The new firmware update is rolling out in Europe
The original One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy Note 10 and S10 series began rolling out more than a week ago, and the S Pen device was also updated to One UI 2.1 in Canada just a couple of days back. It remains to be seen if the new mysterious firmware update will remain a European exclusive or if it will be widely released in every region where One UI 2.1 is available for the Galaxy Note 10.
As always, you can download the new firmware by tapping the update notification once it arrives on your phone, or you can trigger the process manually by opening Settings, navigating to Software update, and tapping Download and install. You can also check our firmware archive.
