Samsung became the first Android OEM to release the October 2021 security update. The new security patch has been released to a few high-end and mid-range smartphones and tablets. The company has now released the security update to the Galaxy Note 10 series in a few markets.
The Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ have started getting a new software update in Colombia, Panama, and Trinidad and Tobago. It comes with firmware version N97xFXXS7FUI5 and includes the October 2021 security patch. Samsung had revealed yesterday that its new security patch fixes over 60 vulnerabilities related to privacy and security.
The update could also include device stability improvements and general bug fixes. If you are a Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
