Samsung started rolling out the April 2022 security update a couple of weeks ago. After releasing the update to the Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S10, and some mid-range phones, the company has released it to the Galaxy Note 20's USA variant.
The latest software update for the carrier-unlocked models of the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with firmware version N98xU1UES2FVC7. The update includes the April 2022 security patch that fixes 88 privacy and security vulnerabilities. It also contains general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
The update is currently rolling out on almost all US carrier networks, including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, C-Spire, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. Even the carrier-locked Galaxy Note 20 models are expected to get the update within the next few weeks.
