The Galaxy Note 20, Samsung's last Galaxy Note series phone, has started getting a new software update. This update was already released to the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in the US.
Galaxy Note 20 gets March 2024 security update in more countries
The new update for the 4G versions of the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes bearing firmware version N98xFXXSAHXC4. The update is now available in various Latin American countries.
The 5G versions of the phones are getting the new update with firmware version N98xBXXSAHXC4. This update is available in Brazil and could be released in other regions very soon.
The new update includes the March 2024 security patch that fixes 44 security flaws found in the previous software versions. It does not bring any new features or improve the phone's performance.
The Galaxy Note 20 isn't eligible for the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update.
