After the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung has started rolling out the May 2022 security update to the Galaxy Note 20 series in the US.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with firmware version N98xU1UES2FVD6. The update is rolling out to carrier-unlocked models of the smartphones in the US. The new update is available on almost all carrier networks in the US.
The new software includes the May 2022 security patch that fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities. As usual, the update might also contain general bug fixes, device stability improvements, and better performance.
If you are a Galaxy Note 20 or Galaxy Note 20 Ultra user in the US, you can download the latest software update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also choose to download the latest firmware file and flash it manually.
