There is quite a bit of feature parity between the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. They use different screens, cameras, batteries, and materials for their builds. While the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra uses Gorilla Glass Victus on the front and the rear, the Galaxy Note 20 has to make do with the Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and plastic at the rear. Now, the strength of the two phones and their materials have been compared in a new drop test video, and the results are surprising.

A new video by YouTube channel PhoneBuff shows how the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra fare when they are dropped. The video consists of back, front, and edge drop tests for the two smartphones. In the first test, the two devices were dropped on a concrete slab with their backs facing down. The Galaxy Note 20's plastic back suffered minor scratches, but the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra's glass back shattered towards the top left corner. Surprised? Well, the test shows that plastic might not feel premium and it picks up scratches relatively easily, but it doesn't shatter as glass does.

Both phones fared well in the edge drop test and didn't show any major sign of damage. Coming to the front drop test, both phones survived beautifully even after multiple drops on concrete, and made it to bonus rounds. The Galaxy Note 20 survived as many as ten drops on its face without showing any damage. The screen, touch panel, and the in-display fingerprint reader all worked as they should even after so many 5-feet drops. See the full drop test video below and let us know your thoughts about it.
