Last month, Samsung had released the Android 12 update to a bunch of high-end smartphones, including the Galaxy S10. However, the update was limited to the Galaxy S10 in Asia, Europe, and the US. Now, the South Korean firm has released the Android 12 update to the Galaxy S10 series in Canada.

The Android 12 update for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+ bears firmware version G97xWVLU6HULD in Canada. The update is available on all carrier networks in the country, including Bell, EastLink, Fido Mobile, Koodo Mobile, Rogers, SaskTel, Telus, Videotron, and Virgin Mobile. The new update also includes the January 2022 security patch to fix privacy and security-related vulnerabilities.

If you are a Galaxy S10 series smartphone user in Canada, you can now get the Android 12 update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. Alternatively, you can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy S10 series in early February 2019 with Android 9 onboard. The devices received the Android 10 update in late 2019, the Android 11 update in late 2020, and the Android 12 update in late 2021.
