The international version of the Galaxy S10 Lite started getting a new security update last week. Now, the update has been released to the carrier-unlocked model of the smartphone in the US. The carrier-locked version of the Galaxy S10 Lite is yet to get the new software update.
The new update for the Galaxy S10 Lite comes with firmware version G770U1UES6EVB1 in the US. It is available on all carrier networks in the country, including AT&T, Bluegrass Celluar, Cellular South, Comcast, C-Spire, Tracfone, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. The February 2022 security patch fixes over 60 security vulnerabilities and brings device stability improvements and bug fixes.
If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite user in the US, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy S10 Lite in early 2020 with Android 10 on board. The smartphone received the Android 11 update in 2021 and the Android 12 update two months ago.
