Samsung appears to be on a roll today. After releasing the latest security update to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the company has released it to the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy S20 FE. Both smartphones are now getting the February 2022 security update in certain European markets.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S10 Lite comes with firmware version G770FXXS6FVA2, and it is available in Austria, Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the Baltic region, and the Nordic region.
The LTE variant of the Galaxy S20 FE is getting the February 2022 security update with firmware version G780FXXU8DVB2. The update is currently available in Caucasus countries, Romania, Russia, and the Netherlands. According to Samsung's documentation, the February 2022 security patch fixes over 60 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities.
If you are a Galaxy S10 Lite or Galaxy S20 FE user in Europe, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
