After releasing the March 2023 security update to the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy S23, Samsung has released its latest security update to the Galaxy S10 series. Since the Galaxy S10 series is listed under Samsung's quarterly software update schedule, the devices in this series will most likely get their next update after three months.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ comes with firmware version G97xFXXSGHWC1. It's a minor update that only brings the March 2023 security patch to the smartphone, which fixes nearly 50 security vulnerabilities. The update might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
The update is currently rolling out to the Galaxy S10 series in Bulgaria, Serbia, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. More European countries and markets worldwide could get this update within the next few days. The Galaxy S10 series was launched with Android 9 onboard, and it has already received the Android 12 update, its last major software update.
If you are a Galaxy S10 series user in the countries listed above, you can download and install the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
