Two weeks ago, Samsung released the November 2023 security update to some Galaxy S20 FE units with the Exynos processor. A few days later, the Snapdragon versions of Galaxy S20 FE 4G received the update. Now, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G has started getting the new security update in Latin America and the US.
Galaxy S20 FE gets November 2023 security update in Latin America and the USA
The latest security update for the Galaxy S20 FE is available in Brazil, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, Trinidad And Tobago, and Uruguay. The update comes with firmware version G781BXXS8HWK2 and includes the November 2023 security patch that fixes over 65 security issues discovered in the previous software version.
The carrier-locked version of the Galaxy S20 FE 5G is also getting a new security update. The update is arriving with firmware version G781USQSDHWK1, and it is available on AT&T, Dish, Metro PCS, Sprint, and T-Mobile networks in the US. More carriers could release the update in the US soon. The Galaxy S20 series has already received the new security update.

To do that, open the Settings app and head to Software update » Download and install. Alternatively, if you are well-versed with the manual firmware flashing process, you can use the appropriate firmware files from our firmware database.
