After releasing the Android 13 update to the Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G780F) and the Galaxy S20 FE 5G (SM-G781B), Samsung has started rolling out the update to the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G780G). This could be the last major Android OS update for the Galaxy S20 FE (LTE).
The Android 13 update for the Galaxy S20 FE comes with firmware version G780GXXU3DVK5. The update is currently available in Serbia, but we expect the new software to reach other markets within the next few days. The new update brings One UI 5.0 and the November 2022 security patch.
If you are a Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G780G) user in Serbia, you can now download and install the Android 13 update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually. Don't forget to back up all your data from the phone before flashing the firmware.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE's Snapdragon version in some markets after facing supply chain issues. The device debuted in May 2021 with Android 11 onboard and received the Android 12 update earlier this year. The Galaxy S20 FE has still not received the Android 13 update in Canada, China, and the US.
