Samsung is rolling out new software updates to the Galaxy S20 FE and the Galaxy S20 FE 5G.
The new update for the Galaxy S20 FE brings the September 2024 security patch, which fixes 67 security vulnerabilities, as well as stability and reliability improvements where the “device behavior has been improved.” At the moment, Samsung has made this available for the variant of the device that it sells in Central America, which has the model number SM-G780G. The new firmware carries version G780GXXSCEXI1.

On the other hand, the new update for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G offers only the September 2024 security patch. Currently, the brand is rolling it out to the carrier-locked variant of the phone for the United States, which has the model number SM-G781U. The version of the new firmware is G781USQSIHXH2. You can get these updates by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install or from our database.
We expect Samsung to offer these updates to other variants of these devices in the next few days.
