The December 2021 security update fixes dozens of privacy and security-related vulnerabilities.
The unlocked variants of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra are getting new updates with firmware version G98xU1UES2DUK1 on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, C-Spire, and Verizon's network in the US. Samsung will release the new update to other variants of the Galaxy S20 over the next few days.
If you are a Galaxy S20 series smartphone user in the aforementioned regions, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install.
