The Galaxy S21 FE is almost here, as has been evident from the tons of mounting evidence these past couple of weeks. And we can now add another one to the pile: We've obtained the user manual for the Galaxy S21 FE (5G). And those who were hoping to find a microSD card slot on the Galaxy S21 FE will be sorely disappointed as the user manual doesn't mention anything about it.
The user manual does confirm other features, though, such as an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance (up to 1.5 meters and up to 30 minutes), an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a high refresh rate screen, and a design similar to the original Galaxy S21 flagships (without a metal housing). Naturally, it doesn't go into detail about the phone's specs, which is not unexpected as that's not what user manuals are meant for. However, we could still figure out a few more features.
The Galaxy S21 FE's triple-camera setup has an ultrawide camera, something that was revealed in earlier leaks. The phone will be available in at least four colors: Black, Green, Purple, and White. The Galaxy S21 FE also features Dolby Atmos, Wireless DeX, Samsung Pay, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
Samsung won't bundle a charger with the Galaxy S21 FE
Samsung will not bundle a charger with the smartphone, and users will have to buy it separately if they don't already have a USB C charger. And yes, the phone seems to lack a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you'll have to depend on USB Type-C headphones, a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter, or Bluetooth for using headphones.
Previous leaks have shown that the phone will use a Snapdragon 888 processor in some markets and the Exynos 2100 chip in others. It could also feature 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. It has a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
