For now, Samsung has made the July 2024 security patch available to two variants of the Galaxy S21 FE, the one that it sells in Europe (SM-G990B) and the carrier-locked version of the smartphone for the US (SM-G990U). With the new software update, the firmware version of the former changes to G990BXXS9GXF3, and that of the latter changes to G990USQSCGXF5.
The July 2024 security patch brings fixes for 58 security issues. You can get the latest security update on your Galaxy S21 FE by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download it from our database.
