Samsung had released the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 stable update to the Galaxy S21 series a few weeks ago. However, some users faced a few bugs and issues after installing the update. Now, the South Korean firm has released a small update to the Galaxy S21 series to fix some of those bugs.
A new software update with firmware version G99xBXXS3BULC is rolling out to the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra in India. The official changelog claims that the update fixes bugs and improves the performance and stability of the system. The new software uses the same December 2021 security update that was rolled out earlier, and Samsung hasn't revealed if it has fixed any additional vulnerabilities that weren't fixed with the previous update.
If you are a Galaxy S21 series smartphone user in India, you might have already received a notification of the new update. If you haven't received it yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install.
Some reports claim that the South Korean firm has resumed the One UI 4.0 update, but this new update just fixes bugs and hasn't started rolling out widely. Samsung is also rolling out the stable One UI 4.0 update to other high-end smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in a few countries.
