Samsung has already released the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update to the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in a few markets. More phones will get the One UI 4.0 update over the next few weeks. Now, the South Korean firm has started working on the One UI 4.1 update, and it could be released early next year.
A Samsung Members forum moderator has mentioned that the Galaxy S22 series will come pre-loaded with the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update. Moreover, the newer version of One UI could be released to the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in February 2022.
While Samsung hasn't confirmed it yet, the One UI 4.1 update could be released to other high-end devices, including the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra a few weeks later. More mid-range and entry-level devices could get the One UI 4.1 update later next year.
Samsung hasn't revealed which new features would debut with the One UI 4.1 update, but we should get a clearer idea with the launch of the Galaxy S22 series. Galaxy smartphones and tablets that launch in the first half of 2022 may come with One UI 4.1 onboard.
