After two months of testing Android 12, Samsung began rolling out the One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy S21 series earlier this week. Although the initial release was limited to a handful of markets, it came with the promise of soon reaching others. A few days have passed, and One UI 4.0 is now available for the Galaxy S21 series in dozens of new countries across multiple continents.
There are too many countries to count here, but you can refer to our firmware section for a complete list of firmware updates that are available for the Galaxy S21. In short, if you reside in Asia, Africa, Europe, or the UAE, chances are that you can already update your Galaxy S21 to Android 12 and One UI 4.0; if not from the Settings app, then by acquiring the update files from the firmware on our website for free. After that, you can install the update on your phone manually using a PC.
With all said and done, and with One UI 4.0 running on your Galaxy S21, you can look forward to more UI personalization options like wallpaper-based color themes. The update also brings various improvements to Samsung apps, including Keyboard, Internet, Calendar, Device Care, and more.
