The One UI 6.0 beta program, which kicked off for the Galaxy S23 series a week ago, is closer than ever to being extended to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Recently, Galaxy S22 Android 14 beta firmware was spotted on Samsung's servers. Now, the company has opened up a dedicated One UI 6.0 section for the 2022 flagships on its community forums in India and the UK, suggesting we're one step closer to the release of the first One UI 6.0 beta for the Galaxy S22 lineup.
Exactly how close are we? Well, after Samsung added One UI 6.0 subforums for the Galaxy S23 series, it took around three weeks for the first beta build to start rolling out, and it's possible we will see a similar amount of time pass by before Galaxy S22 owners get access to the beta version of the next major Android and One UI update, though we can only speculate at this point in time.
The Galaxy S22 line should get the Android 14 and One UI 6.0 beta in the same countries — South Korea, the US, the UK, India, Poland, Germany, and China — where Samsung is allowing Galaxy S23 users to test the new software. Again, this isn't confirmed, so we will have to wait and watch how things proceed.
