Samsung has announced that the June 2022 software update for the Galaxy S22 series will bring various camera improvements. The update has started rolling out in South Korea today, and it could reach other markets within the next few weeks.
The new software update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra carries firmware version S90xNKSU1AVF1 in South Korea. After installing this update, the Galaxy S22's camera should offer images with natural sharpness and improved contrast. It also fixes the bug that stopped capturing images after just one shot in the Single Take mode.
Samsung said that it has also improved the automatic white balance performance so that whites appear more natural while taking images of dogs. The company has also optimized memory utilization while recording videos. The overall camera performance and portrait mode images will be improved with this new update. This appears to be a huge update, with the download size clocking in at 1.7GB.
If you are a Galaxy S22 series user in South Korea, you can soon download and install the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. Once the firmware file appears in our firmware database, you can download it and flash it manually.
