Samsung is expanding the reach of the March 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 series. A few days ago, the update was released to the Galaxy S22 in Eastern Asia, Europe, and the US. Now, the update has been released in South East Asian and Australian regions.
Galaxy S22 gets March 2024 security update in Australia and Southeast Asia
The new software update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra is available in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. It comes bearing firmware version S901EXXS7DXC1. In Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, the new update for the Galaxy S22 series has firmware version S901EXXS7DXC2.
This new update brings the March 2024 security patch, which fixes over 44 security vulnerabilities found in previous software versions. It doesn't bring any new features to the Galaxy S22 series. To install the March 2024 security update on your Galaxy S22 series, open the Settings app, navigate to Software update, and tap Download and install. Alternatively, you can download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually using the Odin tool and a computer running Windows OS.
