It was reported last week that Samsung had delayed the release of the One UI 5.0 beta update in India and other Asian markets. Now, the company has started rolling out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta update to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Second One UI 5.0 beta update released to Galaxy S22, starting with India
Galaxy S22 series users in India interested in trying out the One UI 5.0 beta software can enroll their devices by installing the Samsung Members app on their phone, clicking the One UI 5.0 beta banner on the home page, and tapping the Enrol button. This is the second One UI 5.0 beta build that was rumored to be delayed to next week.
This new beta build of One UI 5.0 brings refreshed icons for Samsung's stock apps. It also brings a few other bug fixes and performance improvements. The update bears a firmware version ending ZVHK and has a download size of 2,970.30MB, so you should prefer downloading it over a Wi-Fi connection.
Once you are enrolled in the One UI 5.0 beta program, head over to Settings » Software update, and then tap on Download and install to install the new software. If you have already installed the update on your Galaxy S22 series device, let us know your experience and the bugs you've faced in the comments section below.
