After the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S22 series has now started getting the One UI 6.1.1 update. This update brings several new Galaxy AI features and improvements to One UI and Samsung's stock apps. The update is currently rolling out in South Korea, and it could be released in other countries next week.
Galaxy S22 gets several new features with One UI 6.1.1 update in South Korea
The One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra is now available in South Korea. It comes with firmware version S90xNKSU5EXH7 and has a download size of well over 2.8GB. If you have a Galaxy S22 series phone and live in South Korea, you can download the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install.

Besides new features, this new update also brings the September 2024 security patch to these 2.5-year-old smartphones. In other countries, the Galaxy S22 series could get the One UI 6.1.1 update in the next few days, but it is expected that the update could arrive early next week.
