Samsung seems to be making a habit of releasing the stable version of Android 14 and One UI 6 on Mondays. The Galaxy S23 series started getting the official update on October 30, which was a Monday, and three weeks later, Samsung once again picked the first day of the week to release the stable One UI 6 update for the Galaxy S22 lineup.
Technically, the Galaxy S22's stable One UI 6 update came out last week, but only for those who were running the One UI 6 beta. The public rollout for devices running Android 13 started yesterday in some European markets, and it will expand to many more countries in the coming days and weeks.
AT&T is the first US carrier to release Galaxy S22's Android 14 update
This week, the official One UI 6 update for the Galaxy S22 has reached the US. It made its debut on AT&T's variants of the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra, and it shouldn't take long for other carriers to release the update for their customers. Unlocked units are also likely to get the update before the week is over.
To download the Android 14 and One UI 6 update on your Galaxy S22, S22+, or S22 Ultra, open its Settings app, select Software update near the bottom of the settings screen, and tap Download and install. That may not work on the first attempt as major updates are rolled out in phases, so be sure to check again later.
