Samsung started rolling out the 2nd One UI 6.0 beta update for the Galaxy S22 last week. The new beta firmware debuted in the UK. It usually doesn't take long for more regions to join, and sure enough, Galaxy S22 One UI 6.0 beta testers in India have now gained access to the 2nd big update.
The One UI 6.0 beta 2 update for the Galaxy S22 in India weighs 1.44GB and includes the October 2023 security patch (via @tarunvats33). Users can identify it by firmware version S90xEXXU7ZWj3.

What has the 2nd One UI 6.0 beta update fixed?
We've said before that Samsung's beta update changelogs are not always accurate or up to date. But at least this time, there is consistency between the UK and India releases. In other words, the beta 2 update for the Galaxy S22 in India carries the same changelog we've seen for the UK. Whether it tells the whole story is another matter.
For what it's worth, the changelog to the One UI 6.0 beta 2 update claims to fix a couple of issues concerning home screen layouts and icons. The screenshot below details everything.
As for a public release of One UI 6.0, the Galaxy S22 likely won't be the first to receive the update, as the Galaxy S23 has had a higher priority throughout the development of the new One UI version. The Galaxy S23 has so far received six One UI 6.0 beta builds, and by the looks of it, it might get the stable update any day now. Nevertheless, the 2022 flagship series should get the public One UI 6.0 update before the end of the year.
Samsung is also developing beta builds for mid-range Galaxy A phones, such as the Galaxy A53 and A34, and its premium foldable devices. One UI 6.0 could roll out for these beta-tested models within the next couple of months.
