A while ago, popular YouTuber Zack Nelson of JerryRigEverything did his famous scratch and bend test on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. It turned out that it would take a good amount of power to bend the device. As far as the scratch test is concerned, the sharp razor blade didn't do any damage to the Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the back.

Well, JerryRigEverything is back with another video, this time showing the teardown of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Here, the video showcases the waterproofing measures, the S-Pen slot, and the overall insides of the device.

The first thing that you will notice is the use of a good amount of adhesive, which Samsung is known to use on its flagships. One of the interesting things Zack notices is that, despite having several holes, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is fully protected from liquid entering the insides. Thanks to the generous use of glue, the speaker grills, the S-Pen slot, and even the USB Type-C port don't pose a threat of incoming water.

Kudos to Samsung for fitting a 5,000 mAh battery along with multiple cameras and an S Pen slot

Going ahead, we can see how all the components are placed. The quad-camera setup is really fascinating to see, as the outside only shows the protruding camera module. But the real magic of the 100x zoom happens in a small space inside the device.

The key highlight of the video is the slot for the S-Pen. There is a small copper pad that wirelessly charges the S-Pen when it is kept inside the slot. The top of the S-Pen silo is made out of plastic, with the copper coil attached to it. To waterproof it, Samsung is making use of adhesive, and again, a good amount of it.
