Samsung is rolling out a new software update to its latest Fan Edition smartphone, the Galaxy S23 FE. It offers the August 2024 security patch to the smartphone, which fixes 50 security issues.

Currently, the company has made it available only for the carrier-unlocked variant of the smartphone for the United States, which has the model number SM-S711U1. However, the brand should make it available to other variants of the phone soon. It has firmware version F946WVLS4CXG6.

You can get the August 2024 security update on your Galaxy S23 FE in two ways. First, on your smartphone, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Second, go to our firmware section, download the required firmware, and install it manually using Odin.

Samsung should soon roll out Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 or at least the features it offers to the Galaxy S23 FE. Soon after that, it will release Android 15-based One UI 7.0 to the smartphone. You can check out the latter’s features in our video above.
