Galaxy S23 FE users in more countries and regions should now have access to a new software update that improves the device's security. The latest Fan Edition smartphone is now getting the June 2024 security update in Asia, Australia, Europe, and a few other countries.
This update comes a few days after it was made available in the USA.
Galaxy S23 FE gets June 2024 security patch in European countries
The new software update for the Galaxy S23 FE comes with firmware version S711BXXS3CXE8 in Asia, Australia, most European countries, and New Zealand. In some European countries, the update has arrived with firmware version S711BXXS3CXE9.
The Asian countries that are getting this update include Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Thailand, the UAE, Turkey, and Vietnam. The African countries that are getting this update include Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, and Tunisia.
It includes the June 2024 security patch, which fixes 59 security loopholes found in Samsung's previous software version. This new patch fixes security bugs found in Android as well as One UI.

How to install June 2024 security update on Galaxy S23 FE?
If you live in any of the countries or regions mentioned above, you can check for the new update on your device by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually. You would need a Windows PC and the Odin tool. You also need to back up all your important data for the manual firmware flashing process.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 FE in late 2024 in Asia and early 2024 in Europe. It came with Android 13 pre-installed but received the Android 14 update soon. Later this year, it will get the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update. After that update, the phone will be eligible for three more major Android OS updates.
