Slowly but surely, leaks and rumors keep coming in to paint a more complete picture of the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE. The latest bit of information we received about the next Fan Edition device pertains to color options, and by the looks of it, Samsung might bring back a rare shade of purple.

Here's a fun fact: The product codes Samsung uses for its Galaxy phones contain a clue about color options. With that in mind, our colleagues at GalaxyClub found an interesting bit of detail in the Galaxy S23 FE product codes.

Namely, the Galaxy S23 FE will be available in at least four color options, and one of these colors might be borrowed from the old Galaxy S9.

Galaxy S23 FE might bring back the S9's Lilac Purple

Our colleagues say that the Galaxy S23 FE will be available in graphite, white, lime, and purple. But oddly enough, the color code for the purple Galaxy S23 FE matches the color code used by the Lilac Purple Galaxy S9, which was released back in 2018.

It's no guarantee, but the Galaxy S23 FE might use the same shade of purple as the Galaxy S9. This color is not as bright as recent violet or purple colors and has a faint reddish undertone. You could say it has a slight touch of burgundy.

We won't know with certainty what this purple Galaxy S23 FE will look like until Samsung announces the device or the first official renders leak. But all things considered, there's a high probability that the device will borrow its finish from the Galaxy S9. As far as the official announcement goes, rumors have it that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S23 FE before the end of the year.
