Samsung has started rolling out One UI 6.1 to millions of users across the globe, and the update is now available for the Galaxy S23 FE. Fan Edition models don't usually get updates at the same time as their non-FE cousins, but you will be happy to know that is not the case here.

One UI 6.1 is a pretty big update, with a download size–nearly 3GB–matching that of Android 14 and One UI 6.0 combined. Galaxy S23 FE owners in Europe can download the update from their phone's Settings » Software update menu. We expect the update to be available in other regions soon.

The full changelog detailing all of One UI 6.1's features, changes, and improvements can be found here. We also have an exclusive hands-on video of the new software running on a Galaxy S23 Ultra that you can watch above.

The Galaxy S23 FE is getting all of One UI 6.1's AI features, except for Instant Slo-mo, the feature that lets you watch any existing video in slow motion. This was expected and has now been confirmed. However, nothing else should be missing compared to the non-FE Galaxy S23 models and other 2023 flagships.
