Samsung’s latest non-foldable flagship smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S25 series, brings many new features. One of them is a new way of experiencing panoramic images. When you take images with the Camera app's Panorama mode in horizontal orientation and then go to the Gallery app to take a look at them, it shows you a ‘View Panorama’ button.
Once you click on it, Gallery will zoom in on the image to fill the screen with the photo and notify you to move the device left or right. When you do that, the app will scroll the image to the left or the right, depending on where you are moving the device. The new experience feels a lot more immersive than before, where you had to scroll manually.
Well, we have discovered that Samsung has offered this feature to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra with the beta version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0, which it rolled out earlier this month. You can check it out in the image below.
Samsung may offer the View Panorama button to more Galaxy devices with One UI 7
Samsung has released the beta version of One UI 7.0 to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 as well. We are assuming that it offers the ‘View Panorama’ button in the Gallery app on those phones as well. We will confirm and update you.
Considering that Samsung has offered the new panoramic image viewing experience to its flagship devices from 2023, we are assuming that it may offer it to other flagship-grade phones as well. That may include the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
