Samsung has released the November 2023 security update to the Galaxy S23 series in some countries. While Galaxy S23 series phones in some countries received the new security patch as a part of the stable One UI 6.0 update, some countries didn't, and they are now getting the November 2023 security update separately.
The November 2023 security update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra is now available in India and Europe. It comes with firmware version S91xBXXS3BWK and brings the new security patch that fixes around 65 security flaws found in the previous software version. It has a download size of around 338MB. It doesn't bring any new features or performance improvements. It also doesn't seem to bring improvements to widget opening and closing animations.
If you have a Galaxy S23 series phone in Europe or India, you can now check for the new update by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database to flash it manually using a Windows PC and the Odin tool.
Samsung is yet to release the stable One UI 6.0 update in some markets like South Korea. However, over the next couple of weeks, it should be available across the world.
