Samsung released the One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S23 series a few weeks ago. Alongside all the usual Galaxy AI and One UI 7.0 features, the update also unlocked two new Good Lock tools—Display Assistant and Game Booster+—for the Galaxy S23.
You can now use Display Assistant and Game Booster+ to tune Galaxy S23
Galaxy S23 series phones running Android 15 and One UI 7.0 can use Good Lock's Display Assistant and Game Booster+ tools to tune the phone's display and gaming performance per your preferences. However, the Display Assistant tool currently seems to be available only in South Korea. Hopefully, the tool will be released globally in the coming months.
The One UI 7.0 beta update is currently available for the Galaxy S23 series in India, South Korea, the UK, and the USA. So, currently, you can only install Display Assistant and Game Booster+ on the Galaxy S23 in these countries.
The Display Assistant tool was launched in December last year, while Game Booster+ was released this month.

What is Display Assistant for Samsung phones, and what are its features?
The Display Assistant tool, part of the Good Guardians suite (previously called Galaxy Labs), offers more control over your phone's display behavior on a per-app basis. It offers granular control over the display's brightness, refresh rate, and screen timeout.
You can adjust the brightness curve to allow the phone to keep the display brightness levels high for a longer time. The app warns that this could affect the phone's thermals, and the device could take more time to cool down. The app also offers one-click access to keep the screen turned on for 30 minutes.
Display Assistant also lets you limit some apps to a 60Hz refresh rate to save power. Its Curtain Mode puts the screen in doze mode for apps that run for a long time, allowing the phone to save power while running such apps.
What is Game Booster+ on Samsung phones?
Game Booster+ offers more options to tune the gaming performance of select Samsung phones. You can remap the keys of the game controller you've paired with your phone. You can even set up four different remapped key profiles and select one of those based on the game you are playing.
The tool helps you enable Game Booster GPU settings for each game. The Pre Transfer feature allows the phone to get the most out of its performance while playing games that use Vulkan APIs. The app's Texture Filter option lets you choose whether you want higher texture (graphics) quality or a higher frame rate.
This app also allows you to classify an app as a game to improve performance. This tool is currently available only in South Korea and is in the beta phase.
