Despite intense competition in the mid-range market, Galaxy A series smartphones sold well. Due to the lack of newer phones, Samsung's overall sales decreased by 8% in October of this year compared to October 2022. Sales in October declined by around 2% compared to September 2023.
Author's Note: For the first time in its history, Samsung used a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor in all its phones across the world. The Snapdragon Gen 2 turned out to be an excellent chip in terms of raw performance, optimization, and power efficiency. As a result, all Galaxy S23 series phones offer the best battery life ever seen in Samsung smartphones. This could be a major part of the reason why sales of the Galaxy S23 series sales increased compared to the Galaxy S22 series.
